Woolly crab

These crabs are sourced from Dutch fisheries and processed fresh. In terms of quality, they are selectively caught specimens with a robust shell and a clearly defined body type – processing ensures a clean selection and immediate cooling after capture. The meat has a pale to slightly rosé hue, a compact texture with a mildly maritime aroma and a pleasant sweetness. Upon opening, a clean structure is revealed with no mushy sections. For preparation, the crabs are suitable whole as a delicacy – perhaps steamed or briefly sautéed in butter – or picked and used in salads, seafood mixes, and high-quality starters. The product is also ideal as a component for warm fish and crab dishes.
