Squid braids

These Calamar braids are made from the tentacles of Totani, sourced from Italian coastal fisheries and processed promptly after being caught. The tentacles are cleaned, sorted, and shaped into uniform braids, creating a stable, easy-to-handle portion. The meat of the Totani tentacles is light to pale pink in colour, with an elastic, finely-fibred structure and a mild maritime aroma. The surface has a clean appearance without discolouration, and the braids retain their shape during cooking. Calamar braids are suitable for quick frying or grilling, for pan dishes, wok preparations, or as part of Mediterranean starters and salads. They can also be used in warm fish dishes or as a side dish to vegetables and grain components.
