This rolled herring is made from pickled herring fillets, which are rolled around pieces of gherkin and onion and then preserved in a spicy brine. The 18 pieces per bucket are uniformly sorted. The flesh has a light, slightly silvery colour, a soft, marinated texture, and a mild, sour aroma. The inner filling contributes to the defined structure. The product is suitable for cold applications, for platters, or for direct consumption. The drained weight of 2 kg ensures calculable yield.
