Young squid

These calamaretti come from the coastal waters of the Falkland Islands and are processed fresh shortly after being caught. Controlled selection and the short time between catch and preparation ensure consistent quality. The small squid have bright, cleanly structured flesh with a fine, delicate texture and a mild, maritime aroma. The surface is smooth, uniform, and free from discolouration. Calamaretti are suitable for quick frying, grilling, steaming, or for preparing in pan dishes. Cut versions for salads and Mediterranean applications can also be reliably produced.
